Monimita Sarkar (Managing Director)
A graduate in English and a post graduate in law, she has been associated with a leading law firm in the eighties. She has been an integral part of KW Conferences since its inception. In the subsequent years of handling the business of conferences, she has been instrumental in the growth and direction of KWC. Her extensive understanding of the industry includes hands on experience in all its key aspects. At present her primary focus is business development.
Rashmi Hazarika (Director)
A graduate in English and a post graduate in mass Communication, Rashmi began her career in advertising. Subsequently she worked in the travel industry and with a leading leather merchandise exporter. Rashmi joined KW in 1996 and over the past years has developed a strong understanding of all aspects of the business with a strong focus on operations and service delivery.
Sumitro Sarkar (Director)
A post graduate in Physics and a post graduate in computer science. Worked for 25 years in the IT industry and was Senior Director in the National Informatics Centre, the chief government computerization agency. He invested in KWC at the request of his friend Jon Wade, and today supports various aspects of the business
"pitch" documents for new business, relationship and service delivery for government conferences and all technology capability.
Arjun Narne (Director)
A graduate in Mechanical Engineering, he assisted in running an Engineering Industry for 16 years before joining KWC. He has been instrumental in the growth of Hyderabad Office and the South India operations of KWC since 2005. Well networked, Arjun is a
'peoples person', very adept at understanding and finding satisfactory solutions to the client's needs.
Nirupma Raina (General Manager Marketing)
Graduated with Honours in Geography from Delhi University, and attended short courses in Communication Skills by Tata Institute of Social Sciences. She has been associated with conferences and exhibitions for many years. At KWC, she handles marketing and business promotion activities for various events. She has experience developing content for collateral and business portals, and has also conducted training sessions in language and communication skills.
Archana Chakravarty (Head - Finance)
Archana is a post graduate in International Business Management from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade [IIFT]. She has worked in various positions with Maruti Udyog for 7 years. Having developed her financial skills in addition to marketing, operations, research and data analysis, she is currently heading the KWC Finance division.
S Bharat (Head Operations)
Bharat has a Master's degree in Business Administration. After a brief stint at SITA World Travel he joined KW Conferences in 2004 and has over the years, gained considerable experience in the various aspects of conference management, particularly operations and logistics. Bharat currently heads the Operations team and has won accolades from numerous clients for his quick thinking and ability to find solutions for every problem. Recently he has been instrumental in developing the Events arm of KW Conferences.
Dipty Das (Head- Strategy & Business Development)
A graduate with Honours in Botany from Delhi University, a university topper in her Post Graduate course, she holds a Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication. Dipty has over fourteen years of national and international work experience in meeting management, research, social & developmental issues and practices. Her forte lies in conceptualizing, coordinating and managing major events and special initiatives. Resourceful and methodical, her eye for detail has brought her high recommendations and appreciation from the clients and employers.
